wee wednesday: very french gangsters

when i was small i wanted glasses and i actually wanted braces too.  i was lucky enough to get braces, but then realized that i was not so lucky after all.  unfortunately, i never faked my way into glasses (perfect sight you see).  if i would have had the option of glasses like these, i would have taken acting lessons...

I know, I know, you have the May issue of Dwell and I know you have seen this amazing restored farmhouse, but I had to post it.  You see, it didn't feel right not to...I personally dream of a restored farmhouse and this one comes pretty close to that exact dream.  I couldn't imagine going one more second without posting it...so bear with me...

not a bad little friday...

soooo, today is a good day.  so many reasons; it's sunny, the birds are singing, a few of my photos (and a quote or two) are featured here (as many of you may know, because i have been shouting it from the mountain top all afternoon!)...

i found a lovely clothing shop in bend; olivia hunter, behind a lovely shoe shop; north soles, that has the most wonderful things.  especially my soul mate of a top...

 

and lu fell in love with a chicken (perhaps she was drawn to the similar hairstyle)...

see, not so bad right?
